Welcome to the forum specifically dedicated to the discussion about Governance which refers to how institutions are managed to achieve their objectives. In its entirety governance incorporates structures, policies, processes, procedures and people employed to implement the vision and mission of an organization.

The forum provides an opportunity for participants to share best practices in governance and how it affects their respective activities. Various codes of governance will be explored and challenges in adapting them to suit local environments will be conversed in detail.

According to a study by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) 5% of all revenues in privately held organizations are lost annually as a result of fraud. The study further reported that banking and financial services, government and public administration, and manufacturing industries continued to have the greatest number of reported fraud cases, while the mining, real estate, and oil and gas industries had the largest reported median losses.
